Are snacks provided during the day?

 

Yes, a variety of healthy snack options will be provided during the day. If this causes concern or your child has any allergies, please make that clear on the registration or contact us in advance and we will make accommodations.  

 

 Is this camp held indoors or outside?

 

This is an outdoor camp! We do have access to the playground, fields, swings and inside Sunnyside Environmental School, so restrooms are avalible.

 

Will camp still be held if it is raining? 

 

Yes, will be held in rain or shine. If any serve weather issues occur, you will be contacted in advance with any changes to the schedule. We suggest sending your child to camp with a rain jacket.

 

At any point during the week, will the campers be leaving the school grounds?

 

No. Camp counselors and campers will remain on school grounds at all times.

 

What will happen in case of an emergency?

 

You will always be contacted in the case of an emergency. For your campers safety, 911 will also be contacted in case of a serious emergency.

 

If my plans change or my child can not attend the camp after payment and registration, will I be refunded?

 

We understand that schedules may change. We ask that you contact us at least a week in advance to notify us of your change in plans. Unfortunately, we can not offer refunds for correspondence made in fewer than seven days prior to the start of camp. 

 

Is there anything that I need to send my child with to camp on a daily basis?

 

Yes, comfortable clothes are necessary along with a filled water bottle. We will be outisde throughout the morning. Please apply sunscreen if this is a concern. On the second day of camp, we also ask campers to bring their favorite short stories. Please make sure that your child wears a swim suit under their clothes on the last day of camp- don't forget a towel!

 

How will the campers be supervised at all times?

 

we are very aware that sometimes campers will be curious and can wander off. We will always be in groups and have our eyes on one another.

 

Is there a registraition sign-up deadline?

 

Yes, we except forms until June 1st if there are still avalible slots.

 

How many slots are avalible per week?

 

We like to keep the camp size small. We will limit the space to a maximum of 10 campers.
